Directions
Making the Citrus Syrup: Put every ingredients inside a pan, bring to a simmer, mixing to dissolve. Next, take off the heat allowing it to cool completely. Pour into a sterilised bottle, seal and store in the refrigerator, it will last for up to a month.
To make Cocktail Base: Mix the specified spirits and syrup in a sizeable container, allow it to infuse for 60 minutes, then filter it best through cheesecloth, to ensure it's fully clarified.
For serving: Add 85ml of the cocktail base to a stirring glass containing ice, and stir lightly for about 60 seconds to cool it down. Pour into a chilled martini glass or equivalent, decorate with some cranberries adding the final touch by giving it a quick spritz with the mandarin essence over the drink.
